MiMi Console Tiny Desk - walnut black
Ships flat in a custom box, via ground.
Assembles in minutes. Lasts generations.
30-day returns. Human support, always.
The MiMi Console is one piece for several jobs — a slim console for a hallway, an entryway catchall, or a compact desk. At 48 inches wide it fits a laptop, a notebook, and a coffee with room to spare. At 17 inches deep it tucks against a wall without claiming a room — which makes it the right size for a small bedroom, a home office corner, or an entry foyer. The faceted geometry catches light from different angles as you move around it, so the colors shift as the day does. Sculptural enough to read as art on a wall, useful enough to earn its keep.
It pairs naturally with the rest of the MiMi family — same joinery, same finishes, same proportions scaled down. The MiMi Stool shares the same 17-inch depth and tucks underneath when not in use. Place two consoles side by side along a hallway and the legs visually merge into one. One system, many configurations.
For contract and trade orders, the MiMi Console can be customized in size, finish, and material. Email info@miduny.com to discuss custom projects.
It arrives flat in a custom box (51" × 19" × 6", 46 lbs) and assembles in minutes: the legs pressure-fit into notches cut by our proprietary CNC program, secured with two bolts each. No glue. Easy to move and easy to disassemble — the joints hold through repeated reassembly without loosening, so it moves with you when you move.
Designed in Brooklyn by Italian architect Alessandro Preda. Handmade in Italy by master artisans, in FSC-certified plywood and wood veneer with a commercial-grade hand-finished surface. On solid-color finishes, the oak grain remains visible beneath the color. Each piece is hand-sanded, hand-stamped with a unique serial number, and shipped with a signed certificate of authenticity.
Featured in AD Italia in the House of Courtyards by Alepreda Architecture. NYCxDesign 2018 Honoree. German Design Award 2019 Nominee.
