Shipping & Returns

We design Miduny pieces to last, and we take the same care in how they are made, packed, shipped, and—if needed—returned.

Below you’ll find clear, straightforward information about delivery, lead times, and returns.


Shipping

Thoughtful packaging

Miduny pieces ship flat in custom-designed boxes that are an integral part of the product experience.

Each box is built with double-layer corrugated cardboard, lined with protective polystyrene and custom cardboard inserts, allowing pieces to be safely assembled directly inside the box.


Lead times

Because we produce our pieces in small batches, availability can vary.

  • Each product page lists an up-to-date lead time, by finish. 

  • Many items are in stock and ready to ship

  • Occasionally, popular finishes sell out and require 12–14 weeks of production

Before placing your order, we kindly ask that you check the lead time listed on the product page.

Handling time for in-stock items: Products shipping with Ground carrier typically have a 2–3 business days. Heavier items, such as the Mimi Dining Table or the Cross-Legs Coffee Table may have a slightly longer handling time because we have to schedule pick-up and delivery with specialized carriers.

Orders ship from our Brooklyn, New York workshop via FedEx, UPS, or DHL (Ground). Standard shipping rates apply to the contiguous 48 states.

European Union

Orders within the E.U. typically ship from our Verona, Italy workshop. 

Large or heavy pieces

Items such as dining tables or large glass pieces ship with specialized carriers and include first room delivery

White glove delivery

A white glove delivery option is available for heavier items such as the Mimi Dining Table or the Cross Legs Coffee Table. To request white glove delivery for another item, please contact us at:

International shipping

We can ship internationally in most cases.

Please contact us at info@miduny.com to confirm availability, lead times, and delivery options.

Depending on the destination, orders may ship from Brooklyn or from our Italian workshops.


Local pickup (New York)

Local pickup is available for New York customers.

You may select Local Pickup at checkout and then email us at info@miduny.com to schedule an appointment.

Duties & taxes

Orders shipped outside the United States may incur import duties and taxes.

These charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the item price or shipping cost.


Returns & Exchanges

At Miduny, every piece is hand-finished and carefully inspected before leaving our workshop. Natural materials—such as solid wood, veneer, and furniture-grade plywood—will vary in grain, color, and texture. We believe this uniqueness is part of what makes each piece special.


Return timeline

  • Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery

  • If there is an issue, contact us at info@miduny.com within 7 days of receipt

  • Returns must be received within 30 days of purchase

Use “Return” or “Exchange” in the email subject line so we can assist you promptly.

 


Return conditions

To be eligible for a return or exchange:

  • Items must be in brand new, resellable condition

  • Original packaging must be kept and reused

  • Items must not show signs of use or assembly beyond inspection

Packaging is an essential part of our product design and must be returned intact.


Refunds

  • There is no restocking fee

  • Customers are responsible for:

    • Outbound shipping

    • Return shipping

    • Payment processing fees charged to the seller (Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, etc.)

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Refunds are issued for the purchase price only

  • Taxes are refunded in accordance with local regulations


Exclusions

  • Custom or special orders are final sale

  • Sale items are non-refundable

  • Returns are accepted only for items purchased directly from miduny.com

If your item was purchased through a showroom or third-party retailer, please contact them directly.


Order changes & cancellations

Orders may be changed or canceled prior to shipment, subject to approval.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make a change.
