The MiMi Bench is a piece designed to do more than one job. As a dining bench, it seats two on the long side of a MiMi Desk and Table — and tucks fully underneath when not in use. As a low coffee table, it holds books, drinks, and the things you set down without thinking. As a media bench, it sets a TV at a low, cinematic height. The faceted geometry catches light from different angles as you move around it, so the colors shift as the day does. Sculptural enough to read as object, useful enough to disappear when you need it to.

It pairs naturally with the rest of the MiMi family — same joinery, same finishes, same proportions. The 48-inch width is sized to the MiMi Desk and Table; the 17-inch depth matches the MiMi Console. Slide the bench under the Desk and Table when not in use, pull it out when guests arrive. One system, many configurations.

It arrives flat in a custom box and assembles in minutes: the legs pressure-fit into notches cut by our proprietary CNC program, secured with two bolts each. No glue. Easy to move and easy to disassemble — the joints hold through repeated reassembly without loosening, so it moves with you when you move.

Designed in Brooklyn by Italian architect Alessandro Preda. Handmade in Italy by master artisans, in FSC-certified plywood and wood veneer with a commercial-grade hand-finished surface. On solid-color finishes, the oak grain remains visible beneath the color. Each piece is hand-sanded, hand-stamped with a unique serial number, and shipped with a signed certificate of authenticity.
